Inventory Management System
Project Overview.
GearLaunch, a leading Print-on-Demand platform, needed an advanced Inventory Management System (IMS) to replace their outdated spreadsheet-based tracking. The system aimed to streamline stock visibility, reduce fulfillment delays, and enhance decision-making through automation and real-time insights.
Our goal was to design a scalable, intuitive, and secure dashboard that enables efficient inventory and order management across multiple locations.
Problem.

The current inventory management process is fragmented and heavily reliant on manual tracking through spreadsheets, resulting in inefficiencies and data inconsistencies. Frequent SKU errors and shipment delays disrupt operations, causing customer dissatisfaction and increased operational costs. The absence of real-time stock updates and order visibility makes it challenging to respond quickly to demand fluctuations or address stock shortages. Additionally, the lack of access control poses significant security risks, leaving the system vulnerable to unauthorized changes and data breaches.

Business Goals.
  • Improve operational efficiency and reduce stock discrepancies
  • Automate manual processes for faster order fulfillment
  • Introduce role-based permissions for better security
  • Enable data-driven decisions via real-time dashboards
Discovery Phase.
The discovery phase focused on gathering insights from the stakeholders, while the design strategy aimed at creating a scalable, efficient, and intuitive solution. In order to do this, we conducted various discovery sessions with the Stakeholders.
User Interviews
We interviewed warehouse managers, logistics staff, and procurement teams to understand pain points.
